Field recording

I record in the field for film, podcasts and installations, and whenever I get the chance.

Exploring the woodlands, salt marshes, streets or natural amphitheatres of a place, I’m often looking to capture its character and sonic highlights, building a library that speeds up the sound design process and helps create a richer, more distinctive and authentic soundtrack.

Previous field recording projects include the Sierra de Andújar, Spain; Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique; the Atlas Mountains, Morocco; the Atlantic oak forests of Britain; and urban Malta.
